Our customer came to us with a leaking lube manifold, after attempting to source spares which had been obsolete for many years.

Problem

Our customer came to us with a leaking lube manifold, after attempting to source spares which had been obsolete for many years.

Solution

After studying the manual and obtaining schematics for the system, we were able to specify and build a new manifold to replace the leaking one. This was supplied and fitted by our engineers.

In addition we measured and installed new hose assembles to replace the existing steel pipework. All the hoses have been tagged and references with their own generic part number so that if one fails in the future it can easily be identified and replaced.

The installation took place in a Friday, which was the only window of opportunity, and our team of engineers fitted the manifold and hoses. The system was then started and found to be functioning perfectly and “no leaks” were detected. The customer was extremely happy with this service.
